storeage pics

I have finally given the 87 its final wash for this year and now have a trickle charger attched to her. I also found a gem that my grandfather left me the car cover. So here are the pics (im just going to link them i did not feel like resizing them)

20th anny 5.o , you might want to think about putting a tarp under your car, that way ground moisture doesn't rust your frame out!

Since its on a semi-solid surface frame rot shouldnt be a problem.

NEVER leave your car parked in grass though, EVER!

Bah! Just tonight, while taking the hood off mine, I saw some mice "playing" in my engine compartment...gonna pick up some mouse poison here in a bit when i go get a money order to pay for Chuck's mounts (shameless plug for Chuck )

Mice...hmmm...maybe my cats would like to go hunting tonight...

Dont worry this is just a temporary fix till i can build a pad, and my father would kill me if i parked it in his grass.

A garage would help too. I know it's a streach but if you could find a covered place to store the car it would be much better for it.

You can get one of those temporary garages at costco for $199 but if your not doing any work to it the best thing is to give it a fresh coat of quality wax, spray any seams with wd-40, (diesel and old motor oil works great on the floor pans but I didnt tell you ;)) I like to leave my fuel almost empty but you can top off and add stabilizer. change the oil (a MUST) and bring in your battery.

If yopu do that you'll be fine, I would not leave the car cover on at all.

There was one of those at Carlisle this year. An Indy 500 edition Mustang with 24 miles on it. They said it is always in its bubble when its not in the climate controlled garage.

Mine gets taken apart piece by piece and packed in bubble wrap in boxes I store in my bedroom closet. Kind of a pain in the #@s to put back together  though!:pbb:

Honda owners are like rabbits......they hide under your shed during the winter and then 30 of them come popping out around spring.
