That is sweet.  That is what I started to do on my '85 but I never finished it  (yet, too many  projects going)

Is that 2X2 for the through floor subframes?

I usually keep my fabrication comments to myself (I'm not a fabricator - but I'm critical ) but those welds are fantastic.
Thanks for the comments. I'm not a fabricator, But I'm cheap and that is the mother of nessecity.  I weld almost everday but it is on exhuast so most people don't see it.
The biggest problem is that most of the body joints have seam sealer in them and it ozzeis(spelling?) out when you start welding.

Is that 2X2 for the through floor subframes?  No it is 1 1/2 x 2" as you can tell by the pic it is the same size as the subframe.

I hope it will stay straight, this car has a moonroof and I still want it to work smooth.

I guess the size of these pic's is better?  LOL

Have has any one wondered if the Stang UPR torque box reinforcements would fit your "Fox Cat/T-bird"  ?

Well the answer is Yes if you modify them.

Here is the Minor Mods.

Had to enlongate the holes on the uppers to get them to fit.

Lucky!  You need to tell me how you made your subfram connectors so that I can get my Turd all setup too.  Nice work!!

Take 1 1/2 x 2.0 in tubing. You can cut them and bend them or run them straight( much stronger). This requires cutting the floorpan.
Then take some 16 gauge to run up to the rear subframe.

If you need any other pic or have questions just ask.  By the way the tubing is 11 gauge.

Man I wish I had the room for that myself.

I want to do something similar to the 84TC since I don't plan on a cage in it.  I like how you closed up that "hump" crossmember.  I've thought about doing that.

I see you added the rocker lip reinforcements too.  I have similar on the 83, but on the inside and then they are tied into the subframe(s) and cage.  They make it so much easier to get the car in the air with a jack, esp when it's lowered, and clears out the bottom when it's on stands.
