Hissing noise !!?? November 02, 2006, 07:59:54 PM I own a 1984 t-bird 5.0, I hear a strange noise coming from the console shifter. When the car is in all gears exept (D) it sounds like air is escaping from a small hole in the console. Its pretty loud and very annoying. Is there a vacuum line inside the console attached to the shift linkage in someway? If anyone has any info on what might be the problem that would be great. Thanks in advance... Quote Selected
