cluster swap?

How many wiring changes are required to use a mustang cluster with 87-88 t-bird sport wiring? Or if anyone has a link, that would be great, thanks.

You need to do a  lot of wiring (as well as running a speedo cable, since the Mustang cluster is mechanical, the T-Bird one electronic) but more importantly, you'll need a Mustang dash. The Mustang cluster will not fot a T-Bird/Cougar dash.

Completely different animal, the Stang cluster won't fit in a tbird/cougar dash w/o serious working-over.
You CAN however put a Fox OR SN-95 Dash in a Fox Bird/Cat...they really change (for the good, IMO) the looks of our interiors..in fact, I'm gonna put a 92 Stang dash in mine in the spring...

To the wiring part of it, you can repin the connectors to use the Stang cluster, although I've not yet researched or looked up or otherwise found out what, if any senders will need replaced/rewired, etc.

Hope this helps ya

EDIT: Carm beat me...lol

I have a mustang with no wiring, and was looking to possibly use this wiring.
