Now Dont Laugh

At my poor car.




In the top pic you can see some of the rust i am in the process of repairing(i want to get some rust encapsulator before close the holes) and i still need to remove the rest of the adhesive from the side moulding
In the bottom pic you can see my bumper cover is only half there. The bottom was broken when my brother-in-law bought the car and he then cut the rest of it off.

car looks good and those wheels look awesome on it.  my front bumper isnt much better so dont feel too bad about it.  it doesnt look that bad.

Where did you get the rims? I have a 87 but want something other than the wire caps. Warren PA, huh I am about 20 miles to your north

I got the rims from summit. Where are you in NY? 20 miles means you cant be too much north of Jamestown. My uncle is a teacher and track coach in frewsburg. Actually i was in Jamestwon and lakewood last night. i didnt even know anybody on here was that close to here.

not rust as bad as my car was...I got the hole front clip off again, and I'm stripping the engine bay for paint...my buddy is a auto body tech by trade, he was working circles around me the other day

Jamestown is correct, actually by location I would call it Busti but the PO thinks other. I actually grew up in Frewsburg and my wife is from Warren, her family is still there and so is her brothers business. I saw another 87 or 88 in town the other night so either there is another or it was you.

Which night? I was up there to go to the lakewood walmart on  wednesday with the bird. So it could have been me. i have only seen 1 other black bird but that was in sugar grove. I know there are a couple tan ones around though.
On a side not i went to the JY looking for a bumper cover but all they had was an 88 cougar. Has anyone ever tried to get scratches out of a bumper cover before? I have one that has grinding scratches in it i was wondering if it would be feasible to sand out the scratches. I think i will try a couple other junkyards this week and see if i can find a good one.
