Help!! Critical system error!! Reply #4 – October 09, 2006, 12:46:15 AM I'd recommend running the scan in dos or safe mode. Sometimes viruses like to mask their indentity as a legit program or system task. You'd need a boot disk to boot into dos mode then have the anti-virus program on a floppy/cd-r/or thumb drive and type in the name of the program to access it! Reply #5 – October 10, 2006, 06:14:41 PM you have the newest klex or spyfalcon down load and install ewido (http://www.grisoft.com) it is free for 30 days.boot into safe mode. run ewido. and there is also a klez fix out there but I am on cold medicine and can't remember the name....
