Looks great Eric. I added my photo's/description and I noticed there was no choice for a Tremec 5 speed transmission. Talk about nit-picking :D !

Please let me know your thoughts, criticisms,
Well, as long as you don't yell at me, I've never been a fan of light-grey and dark-grey text on a mid-grey background.
Cranking up the monitor's contrast until it's easy to read washes out everything else.
Death awaits you all with nasty, big, pointy teeth.

Please don't yell at me either, but I liked the apearance of the old site better, but this looks good as well.  Jason.

I like it!! :grinno:  I will admit the color combo may make it hard to read depending on how the settings on your monitor are but it is really easy on the eyes. Navigation and the search is great. Excellent work!!

Wow Eric you outdid yourself.  The site looks really great.  Thanks so much for all that you've done over the years for all of us Cougar lovers.  It is appreciated more than you will ever know.

Love live the E-man!

Looks fine, and works OK for me so far.. but in all honesty, I'd have rather seen it left alone. I've been using the Net for so long now (over a decade, not counting single- and multi-line BBSes) that I'm becoming rather set in my ways about it. Site redesigns, to me, are just web designers getting bored and needing some busy-work to do.

At any rate, I guess it doesn't really affect things too much.. on the start page I made on my hard drive for my browser, I just keep a link directly to the forums. I don't get over to the main site much unless I'm actively working on something.. and most of the time, that keeps me too distracted to notice much else about the pages. This post isn't meant as a complaint of any kind.. it's just what comes to mind when I stop and think about it.

One thing I forgot to add before I hit Submit: The content of the site speaks for itself. You could have something tacky like Green Bay Packers colors (pee-yellow letters on a puke-green background) and it would still be a great site from all the content. The wrapper for all that content is largely irrelevant. (it would be an eyesore, but still..) :p

Ahhh, cool.. I edited quickly enough that it didn't give an edited message the first time. Let's see if it does it again. :D

Yep, second time's the charm.

As thorough as thorough this site strives to be, there is simply no possible way to cover all the bases. That's where a message board or two is handy at filling in the gaps, and getting a more immediate response to an inquiry. Most boards also allow listings for parts for sale/parts wanted. All can be browsed freely but you must be registered to post (registration is free).

Might wanna fix that, Eric.  ;)

I think I found a booger. In the viewer photo's section, under "1987" Scotts 87 LS Cougar uses the same picture as Sly's 20th ann. Just alittle booger nothin big.

Hmmmph....if it were only that easy man! I'm a web designer for a living and believe me, this was not just a pretty face over the old site. There was an annoying Javascript error on most every page (my fault all the way). None of the pages printed correctly (again, my fault). That gets pretty annoying when you provide a site full of content but people can't print that content out right. Plus I learned a lot of tricks since last time, making it easy to change colors or redesign the next time. And we had to incorporate the automation in, which would have been a pissy little patch over the old site. It just made more sense to do it this way. Now it's functional on all fronts, not just visually. New content is added. People can put their own cars in. I don't have to spend a lot of time maintaining anymore--meaning, I may be able to have more of a life now. When the E Man says 'all new', it's ALL NEW. ;)

Thanks for your feedback and comments everyone! Appreciate it.
