Got a few questions and observations...

Well I just bought my first fox body, an 88 bird with the 5.0 and AOD. 1. Will a mustang off road "H" pipe fit the stock cast iron manifolds?

        2. If it won`t, I`m thinking that I`d hafta install a floor shifter to help with any clearance issues with the column shifter.(headers)

        3. Will the mustang aluminun driveshaft bolt into my bird?

Thanks. Things are so much simpler on a old galaxie...

Mustang driveshafts are too short.

So how old of a block (302) will work in a fox with the stock FI? I was thinking about building an engine and wondered which years to look for. Thanks.

Well if you have mass air I think that any 302 block would work even non rollers. The cams have to be within a certain spec though or you could have problems with idle.
