Header panel question

I'm in need of a header panel for an 86 bird. Are the Cougar header panels the same and interchange ? Thanks

Same, no. Interchange, yes.

I put a 87 cougar front end on my 87 tbird after I ran into the back of a Cadillac. All the turn signals and everything are in the same place.

For the 83-86 years, the cougar side markers are more vertical as is the grill. I am pretty sure that everything will bolt up, but you may need the bucket and side marker to match, as well as the grill. But it will interchange for sure if you get a "loaded header panel" and swap it all over.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
