heater core bad in my 20th question on quality option Reply #15 – March 25, 2018, 03:40:39 PM Not sure what caused your failure on this occasion but something to keep in mind is the water and coolant being used. Tap water or bottled drinking water is best or just get the 50/50 premix coolant. Doesn't hurt to do a coolant flush every 40-50,000 miles either. Keeping the coolant from getting overly corrosive or acidic may be the best mod you can do. Quote Selected
