Beau, when I first read your post, and then Lou's, I was shaking my head.
I would wag my finger at you and the wifey for yelling at the caveman in the Dodge...but at the same time, we've all been there. You're definitely dealing with the dregs of society going to Walmart at any time during daylight hours LOL. That's one place I do not mind trekking far across the lot back to my car. Highly recommend going during the week at like 8 PM. Should see an improvement in the results :D

Who knows exactly what happened, whether or not the guy looked behind him, but he definitely shouldn't have gotten out of his car. You screw up, just get out of the way and leave, sit in your wrongness and be wrong. Stupid people don't know how stupid they are...so they are incapable of doing so.

It's good that you came on here and vented, much more healthy than taking some drastic action, so kudos there. But you have no power. You can't teach them. So let 'em be, or ideally stay away. Don't hurt the Mounty, people will be hounding you for the heads off the engine!!!

And I also LOL'd hard at Pauly's pics....

Speaking of the mounty, I'm going to drive it till either the trans goes to shiznit, or the engine does. Or the body rusts away, whichever comes first.

I've got more faith in it than vehicles 10 years newer or with 200,000 miles less.
Just don't pass any gas stations, and you're good to go.

I usually try to go to wal mart around 10...11 PM. Most of the traffic then is people getting off work. They want their case of beer to GTFO again. No worries from them.

And I wouldn't have even got riled up if the guy had simply looked and stopped well before he got close to hitting me. I may have breathed a "dumbass" in his honor, but that's as far as I would have gotten.

A few years ago, in the winter, a younger guy was zipping around the lot, then driving his junk up on the piles of snow like he trying out for Bigfoot driver auditions. He actually ramped the side of one snow pile and slid down the far side and did a 180....almost hitting a car. Cops got called on that one...had the scanner going at the time, before the cop got out there, they had 4 calls about the kid.

I'm about having fun, but not when it can hurt or destroy someone or their property...

This is why when someone pulls out in front of me I stop, mutter about how the person is a dumb ass to myself, and then drive off. Life's too shorty to get angry. No cars were damaged. No one was hurt. No need to get angry at each other. Relax. It will make you feel much more chill about life. :D.

Geesh what did I do that everyone keeps referencing this? All I was saying is just chill out and relax. Life is too short to get upset about things. Vent and take a deep breath. I promise not to tell anyone to relax anymore :hick:

wow,, this could have been a mess.
no offence but Beau the guy f'd up.  I don't care about the other guy, but you f'd up just as bad man.

Try out for size a few times of just letting the stupid happen around you and avoid it by continuing to drive like your operating a deadly weapon.. ignore the stupids around you.

there's absolutely no net gain in intentionally making yourself a part of the situation.

yes blowing your horn to warn the other driver was the right thing to do... that's operating your vehicle properly even on private property.

to be honest,,, I know your thinking im being unreasonable,, let it kick in though and once you try letting the stupid happen around you and avoiding the stupid a few times, it will start becoming habit.

you will start to see stupid way ahead of you and think out how to just not get into that ring of possible fire.

the other guy a the end of the day may have been thinking,,, "let me cut off this mother f'er so I can get out before he does" ~which is the most likely case from how you described it.
so having said that ,,, let the fugger out,, let him have his stupid way,, because can you image the alternative if you had not? because would have likely ended up with people fighting in a wally world parking lot ,,, then you would have to deal with yourself "looking back" on it wishing you had a "redo".

I don't disagree with scott any,, heck he just smacked you around a bit ,, no sense in getting sand in your vajaja,,,LOL,,, sometimes we all need tuned up...im just as guilty.

now back to cars,,, I still want your control arms!!!!!!!!  :)

No worries, LOL.

Control arms went to the new owner almost a year ago...

Did I not mark them as sold in my thread? *looking now*

I try to keep out of bad situations, simply because I carry...it's part of the package to recognize trouble on the horizon and set a different course if need be. Some people don't give you a chance though.
He was also in a newer vehicle, likely with more power, I couldn't have outran him nor would I have tried. Yes, I could have merely honked the horn, and backed up enough to keep from being hit and nothing more, but i didn't.

I also am usually not that confrontational, but anymore, people just don't pay any attention to what goes on around them. They're too busy worrying about what the latest bullshiznit on FB is about, or sending that text, or playing pocket pool while backing out of a spot.

I didn't see the guy, because I was looking BEHIND me while I was backing, I looked ahead, put it in drive, and then there he came, trying to Bigfoot my front bumper..guess I should've let him hit my shiznit, total it out, and then came on here being a cooch about how my daily got taken out by a prick who was inattentive.

It's all good. Just look before you leap...especially if you're leaping onto my toes. ;)

My bad, for some reason I was thinking of the CHE rear arms I had that were one of the first parts to go...

Yes, still have the fronts. I'd have to box them and get a shipping quote..I can do this in the AM. Sorry I got confused...(old age and all...)
