AOD whinning

Hi Guys,
lately when i get in the higher rpms i can hear my transmission whinning. Im terrified to think about what could be wrong in there. Possibly worried about the clutch packs? I dont really know transmissions very well.

Thanks for whatever help youve got.

All AODs normally have a whining sound when accelerating. If it's getting louder it could be the transmission pump. If your AOD has 326,000 miles on it and hasn't been rebuilt it could very well be the pump starting to go out ;).

its been rebuilt twice in its life. first was right after mom/dad bought it (covered under warranty) and then it was rebuilt again at 200K. And the other thing that happens sometimes, is I can give the car more throttle and it doesnt accelerate more. Just keeps on at the same speed. Then after a few seconds itll "pull" again.
