Coolant leak!!!

I just discovered a few minutes ago that I have a coolant leak on my 85. I'm not sure where it's coming from. It's dripping from under the crank pulley/vibration damper. My guess would be the water pump gasket has gone bad.
Does that seem to be the most likely? I have a three day weekend and I'd like to enjoy my car for at least one of those days. I need to get it fixed soon if possible.

Either that or the coolant hoses, or the lower intake

Water pump is dribbling from the check hole, time for a new one.

I assumed that my waterpump was leaking once, replaced it, fired the car up and it still leaked. The timing chain cover leaked.

LOL!,, yeah tell me more,, no just kidding.......

so then you do your due diligence to replace the timing cover gasket only to break off a timing cover bolt...... almost forget there is allen head bolts in the bottom of the cover ect,,, then it all just snow balls from there.

The covers do leak that is why i replace both after thoroughly checking out where the leak is actually coming from. If the coolant is coming from the weep hole it is not brain surgery to the fact that the pump is shot. Just saying

The pump is a straightforward procedure that I can do with the tools I have. I have everything torn down and the old pump removed. It's definitely the original (it still has Ford stamped on it). It's covered in sludge on the outside, but it is surprisingly clean inside.

Is there anything I can look for tomorrow to check the timing chain cover without having to pull the crank pulley?
