Offering items for sale on a "make me an offer" basis, then doing all of the negotiating through private messaging doesn't allow the vast majority of forum members to have any idea what the items sell for.

If a member is not a regular trader of tbird/Cougar parts, it is hard to know what the value of various parts/accessories might be worth.
If all sales were handled in plain view of all members on the original thread where they are offered, this problem would be eliminated.

Most of the items in this thread are sold, and I do not feel the need to disclose what others paid for their items. That is between me and the buyer. I believe everything was sold at fair value. As a buyer in the past, I have always made it my business to be knowledgeable of the market price for my purchases, and I believe most if not all of my buyers did the same.
