Thanks guys its not an easy journey it's not a diet it's a whole life style change basically became honest with my self and faced reality .I WAS FAT. I was tired . I didn't wana be who I had became . I had enough . Once I lost the mind fat the rest followed . One small step at a time . Portion control was first then I cut out sodas ,fried food ,fast food and caned food . I eat almost every 3 hours now to refuel my body bec now my metabolism is so high now . I didn't do this alone my best Freind was 380 he is now 214 here is our web site http://www.halftheman380.com it's a work in progress we also have a fb page but its being redone right now we have almost 5,500 followers I will be leaving my towing business soon to pursue my dream of helping others restore there lives from within you can do it it's all up to you at the end of the day

Welcome back to the board !
And congrats on your weight loss.
I lost some un-needed weight 2 years ago ( but not as much as you), so I can only imagine how much better you feel.
Yep, it takes a life style change, not just a food change.

Mine was a self made diet so all I did was exercise and watch my saturated fat and sugar intake. Got my cholesterol down 60 points in 4 months. :D (and loss 12 lbs)

Keep up the good work !

That's an awesome transformation. All the benefits of longer life, improved self-esteem and sense of accomplishment aside, you know all you really wanted was to drop your quarters by .2 second :headbang:

Wow! What a difference! Congrats!

I have a good friend who weighs 450lbs or so and I worry about his health. He is 50 yrs old and I tell him constantly that being that big at that age is a very very bad thing. He tried just walking for 30 minutes a day three times a week and lost over 100lbs in 6 months. He quit doing that last year and the weight came right back. He also eats two to three times as much as I do (I'm 6'1" 200lbs) so that ain't helping either.

Being 450 lbs at ANY age is deadly. I've worked in nursing care for 20 years and I can tell many stories.

Congrats on the weight loss.  I would say welcome back but I've been pretty scarce around here lately as well!
