Fuel pressure regulator. May 25, 2013, 10:29:37 AM I've been trying to find an answer on this forum and on the internet without any luck. From what I have read the pressure regulator on my "86" stock 5.0 engine was to be set at 39 psi. Now that I have an "87" Mustang 5.0 HO engine with a stage #1 cam, dual exhaust, and MSD distributor, how do I know what my fuel pressure regulator should be set at? I found an adjustable BBK regulator and gauge that mounts to the rail. Now I need to know how to set it up properly. Thanks! Quote Selected

Fuel pressure regulator. Reply #5 – May 26, 2013, 01:25:09 PM the CFI FPR's are factory adjustable, just remove the top little freeze plug or the aftermarket replacement types with a plastic top to reveal the allen head adjustment.you just cut off the mounting area of the FPR on a CFI and keep that part along with the FPR and you saved a lot of money.they do not however take a vac line but thier design is very reliable.
