some areas are "brite-touch" semi gloss (hood, bed, tailgate) the rest is satin black.. all rattle can. it looks good from a distant or in pictures... up close its not as nice... it was definitely better then purple/green tribal flames. i took it from rice to nice . hehehehe. here are all the pics http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a71/BJL88TC/Ranger%20Splash/

Gumby: is it a custom piece? i got my grill by trading the billet one that was on the truck when i got it and the splash grill is cracked and my recent encounter with a explorer rim and suspension parts from accident i was collateral damage in has broken the sides. i like how it one solid piece..

Yeah, its custom. I floated some chrome rocker trim to the top section of a splash grille. Plastic shop wanted $5-700 to chrome it for real. I can go crazy over minor mods, but not that crazy.
Ford never put chrome on the top of the splash grille. I sectioned a chrome top piece to fill the gaps between the splash grille and my chrome corner trims since the splash grille is shorter as well.
Then I mounted a section of billet behind everything to finish it off.
gumby - beauty may fade, but stupid is forever!
