Scoops or no Scoops?

No scoops...Personally I can't stand the looks of them on anything other than an 87-88TC.

And the 8-holes look better than a set of Drag-Lites would.  Then again, I've never liked Drag-Lites either.

I didn't like the drag lite look at first either. But I've seen a couple Birds/Cougars with them, and I've warmed up to the idea. Also, the car will be dropped 1-1/2 - 2"s, and I've got a set of Kobel GFX's for it also.

Up next: FMIC, fresh air intake, ported intakes, ported big valve head.

X2.  I just swapped a TC hood on my 83 Cat and love the look it gave it.

I don't know why, but a five spoke wheel just doesn't look right to me on the 87/88 Birds. Next time I have to find rotors, it may come to a five lug swap.

A good set of wheels, stock or not, make the car look 10 times better.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I dunno ...Personally, it seems like every other Fox Cougar/TBird has TC hood scoops. I still dig 'em, don't get me wrong, but they're coming to the point of being overdone. I prefer the stock over the TC hood.
