My super secret but not as impressive as I thought idea

Yeah, I have decided its a no go too. The curve is just way too bad for it to look right. In my head this was a great idea, but on the car it looks like shiznit. I just wanted to know what you guys were thinking to solidify my opinion. Yes, this will be going on my wall lol right next to the other failed ideas ;)

I do have a couple of other ideas floating around though, like the trunk lock cover, and maybe something else, far less attention grabbing.

Thx for input everyone. I will let you know if I come up with a new idea.

I vote no. If you have to molest it, use one of the Grand Marquis trunk lock covers with the logo on it.

+1 I think subtle is the way to go here...

Don't focus too much on the badging.Put all that energy under the hood or detailing.

I never understood that Merc logo.  A cat? sure.  Some bent lines?  Not so much.

Vinnie's right, these cars are picky about external mods.  The designers got it right from the beginning, and you don't mess with perfection.

I had bought Cobra badges years ago so when the car could back up the badges,I'd install them. When the time came,I just couldn't do it. So,I bought 5.0 badges.....I just couldn't do it. I did manage to install the 2004 Thunderbird script on the trunk in place of the boxy stock lettering. It fit.Subtle is very important on these cars.Very little can say a lot. It doesn't take much at all to go overboard with these Foxes.
