any one need 83 parts Reply #16 – February 28, 2008, 09:50:13 AM That's an '84. The base 1983 and 1984 cars (GS) both had brushed aluminum panels, but the '83s were lighter ("brighter"), and the shift indicator matched the panels. In 1984 the panels were slightly darker and the shift indicator went to black. Also, the buttstuffog instrument clusters were different shades of brushed aluminum. Essentially, even though they were only one model year apart, there were a LOT of changes between 1983 and 1984 interiors.So...if that interior is indeed light blue...we need to talk, Bear. any one need 83 parts Reply #21 – February 28, 2008, 07:08:19 PM Quote from: Romeo2k;206744Does the cluster have the darker brushed face or a straight silver brushed face like the one Bear posted?I picked up a bright silver brushed cluster out of an 83 with fake woodgrain dash awhile back, and haven't seen another since... Trying to figure out whats up with that... thinking it may be an '83 exclusive?.The one Bear has looks more like an '84.But those brushed dash panels are nice! I'm thinking those wood look much nicer than my woodgrain or worn plain black ones... How much would you want for em? And is the radio surround also brushed aluminum? or just black?BTW,what's the story on the car? Looks pretty decent other than the roof.car runs but only bought it for parts...pm me an offer on the parts u want . radio panle is blackQuote from: the_intimidator03;206747well i spy some good thick trim peices on the 1/4 panels and fenders but they probably going with the fenders for the vert. i do need some basic things such as the battery hold down system. and if the signal covers are in good shaped IE not cracked those too...the trim is junk..no battery hod down and ill double check the turn signals .Quote from: cougar86_89;206763How does the driver mirror look? power? mine is all flaked. ill take both if they are both goodmirrors are good Quote from: EricCoolCats;206765That's an '84.
