you mean 6" rods (aussie) 3.50 stroke,cast ford pistons. I will be the first to say that I was talked into SRP pistons because they are way nicer than stock stuff. I was going to do a "cheap" overhaul" but got told that is what I would get in return. If you spend money on your short block you will have something better to work with. My stock compression was 10:76:1 with closed chamber heads. But now I will have 10:00:1 compression with SRP flat tops. I will have to have it balanced because the SRP's are lighter,thus greater throttle response and i can put the juice to it if i want. So dont go cheap on the bottom end. OK! I have DOAE closed chamber heads and they are not the best for low end power,but I'm going to get a custom ground cam (roller) to try to get some low end power. Parts are going to be here soon so then i will post pics. Until then foxtbirdcougars RULE!!!!!!
