1983-1984 Cougar Headlight bezels w/ marker lights Reply #3 – September 17, 2009, 07:48:15 PM Those will fit any Bird or Cat from 83 to 86. Got more of 'em than I need too, but it let's me try different eye makeup on my Birds. There's absolutely no difference in the headlight doors or front clip for Birds or Cats from 83 to 86. The only difference until you get to the rear door jambs is the grille. Quote Selected
1983-1984 Cougar Headlight bezels w/ marker lights Reply #4 – September 17, 2009, 07:53:45 PM The amber lense is different on the cougars. The T Bird are more laid back. I have a extra set from my sons 83 Bird here and they will not fit my 86 Cougar Quote Selected
1983-1984 Cougar Headlight bezels w/ marker lights Reply #5 – September 17, 2009, 10:39:46 PM The header panel on 83-86 birds and cats are different. This makes the grille and headlight bezels unique to each. These are not interchangeable with birds. I also know this from experience. Quote Selected

I brought these home from the junkyard to compare to the TBird and also found there is a slight difference in the contour of the fender. Hard to tell unless you test fit. I figured Ford would have used the same fender and headlight dimensions and just changed the style slightly to make them look unique but no.:screwy: Quote Selected
