No but it's still a 53 year old garage ;) It's in a metro area though so that might help.

Make sure you got all of momma out of there asap... The smell of decaying rat is the hardest thing to get rid of. Fixing all the wiring they chewed up is a piece of cake compared.

she's gone, at least what was left. none of them got in the car as far as i can tell.

My T-bird sits in a garage all winter and I've never had a rodent problem.

Same here at least so far..............knock on wood

My XR-7 sat outside untouched for at least 8 years. It had a huge (rat?mouse?squirrel?) nest on top of the gas tank, another in the air cleaner, and another inside the passenger fender. Judging by the acorns and poop on the passenger floor mat, there is another in the dash somewhere.

Something is dead in there, I can smell it.

mice and rats r problems here on the farm. got bout 15 cats that do nothing but laze around . got my dachshund almost a year ago and he brings two to three mice/rats on the pourch a day . in current process of getting rid of the worthless cats. giving them to people not killing them. lol . but yes mice/rats r problems in the sticks. would love to have a roddent free garage full of prodjects preferably 4 of them my t-bird and one for each kid to teach them the value of turning a greasy wrench (values most kids dont get nowadays) my oldest son wants a stang . my youngest son wants my 2000 f-150. and i think my daughter will convert from a stang to a bird or cougar:D and yes she wants to learn to build a car shes daddys girl for a reason

i had ants get into my car after i took 2 gigantic bags of soda cans to the s yard.  well i didnt realize it but it leaked out of the bag on the rear parcel tray and all over the back of my driver side seat.  the ants beat me to the discovery.  i started squashing them as i saw them... in the search for them i found all the gooey soda residue, cleaned it all up and then hit the entire carpet, under the seats, behind them, all over with wasp killer spray.  the stuff that will spray like 10-15ft.  i also coated the bottoms of my wheels with the spray and moved the car.  havnt seen a ant since and the spray fumes werent an issue since it was a convertable.

those bags are FULL of CRUSHED soda cans.  16 dollars worth as it turned out.. ive given up saving cans if the price per lb is like 55 cents or less.
