My A/C is giving me cold feet! May 11, 2009, 01:11:53 PM Okay, so I’m driving along, minding my own business (Don't I always?). It’s pretty hot outside, so the A/C is blasting away, blows pretty cold. I go for a quick right turn and BLAM!...my right foot freezes! Actually, it’s soaking wet—from ice water! I conclude that it’s obviously condensation off of the evaporator; apparently has no where to drain. My question is: is the condensation normal? If so, IS there a drain for it, and perchance could it be clogged? Quote Selected

My A/C is giving me cold feet! Reply #3 – May 11, 2009, 07:19:42 PM Drain tube exits into the engine compartment... It's down low, about where the fire wall curves under, just about directly below the AC lines... Quote Selected
My A/C is giving me cold feet! Reply #4 – May 12, 2009, 02:36:48 AM Here it is. Big rubber plug with a short snout in the middle. You can probably reach it from under the hood, squeeze and wiggle it, or shove a pencil up the snout to dislodge any plugging it up.. Quote Selected

My A/C is giving me cold feet! Reply #6 – May 18, 2009, 04:25:56 PM Okay, I finally got under the hood this weekend. I found the drain tube and snaked a piece of antenna inside...I'd say I pushed it in about an inch before I got a steady stream of water coming out! I'd say about 1/3 of water or so was under the dash!...things are much better now! Thanks again for the help guys! Quote Selected
