I do pride myself in being an avid biker, but I'd rather drive the T-bird this winter, than ride the Harley.  :flame:

You need a winter beater so the T-bird doesn't rust ;)

Engine bay looks great as well. I had valve covers like that on my 88 till I rebuilt the engine and added cast Cobra valve covers. The chrome ones look great but are a PITA to keep clean. I swear I polished the  things once a week :hick:

isnt this where the kickdown is sopposed to be connected? hrm?

Correct, that is where the "kickdown" connects.  The Tv though needs true movement of the throttle.. that connection actually floats.  It starts to actuate at about 60% throttle.  Not gona work for a TV.

Here's what the motor sounds like.  You can't see it because it's night time in a parking lot and I have no hood lights yet.

5mb so dial up beware.

Update:  She's been a little bad to me lately.  Just last night the ignition key locked up on me.  Had to drill the mofookie out!  Not cool.  It as 7 degrees outside and I was in a Speedway parking lot.

All good now.  Still runs great except for the heater only works on low and the duraspark issue.

Bugs are to be expected.  Once I replace everything... it'll be all good.

I have a question regarding your cam you listed 0.493 int/0.500 exh. with stock bottom end. did you have flat top or dished pistons installed? If I'm not mistken the most lift on a 302 ford is 0.488int/ 0.488 exh. due to valve damage to the pistons. I was just curious.
