my wanting to "keep the car original" but have the extra giddy-up. I in NO WAY intend to try and justify my reasoning. Retarded? MAYBE! In fact, almost certainly! But dammit I like it so Im stickin to it LOL.

Exhaust

Cast iron exhaust manifolds are mandatory and must be from period 1960- 1975.

Under no cirspoogestances will headers be allowed, including those cars that had headers delivered in the trunk

Exhaust systems may be upgraded to a maximum of 2.5" diameter head and tail pipes. Certain cars such as 63' Max Wedge Plymouths & some SD Pontiacs had 3" exhaust outlets & head pipes, these are allowed if your car originally came with them. Pipes must exit in the correct* original location. lers must be stock looking in design, that is oval in shape.

No glasspacks or straight-through pipes allowed. Excessive exhaust leaks are not allowed.

X-pipes and H-pipes allowed You must run full exhausts at all times. No Cutouts.

If you think your exhaust sounds too loud it probably is, and will not be legal.

There are plenty of race classes out there dedicated to just what you are doing.

Well RIGHT thats like up here anyway at Leb. Valley dragway its called F.A.S.T. Factory Appearing Stock Tires...same thing all the old muscle cars. I've been hearing some of those guys are really turnin' surprisingly  good times.....

I wont lie...yep might as well keep diggin as long as Im in the hole...I wish I could have the manifolds on too. LOL :hick:  See I pipe-dream like this....maybe someday if I got some money to blow...maybe find.....SOMEWHERE that could literally custom fabricate correct looking manifolds that flow decently. At least the right sizing anyway so it doesnt choke the thing off completely. That would be EPIC.
