Hey now...I give credit where credit is due. Nobody has anything on the market that looks like the Arc mouse. It's performing brilliantly, it was reasonably priced, and M$ has a long track record of making a solidly designed mouse. If it lasts even 3 years, until the end of the warranty period, then it was a good investment.

Now their OS, on the other hand... ;)

Let me know how it works, and how long.
My mighty mouse blew out its little mouse ball last week. Think it's time for a  change

I meant the page scroll ball on the top of the mouse. It doesn't have a tracking ball on the bottom.

The ball stopped working. first it wouldn't scroll down. now, up or down is gone. side to side still works, but web pages don't scroll sideways. I think I'll take it apart. :hick:

Try flipping it upside-down and run the ball all over the table like a maniac. Always works for me ;)

Nasty dent...ouch.

I'm still running a 1.25 GHz 15" PowerBook that's 5.5 years old. It's like these cars, stock: slow and lacking modern features but ed dependable LOL. Still waiting for that computer to crash...I have never ever seen the multilanguage lockup screen on that computer. Amazing. Good luck with this one Jerry, and don't fry the motherboard. ;)
