But yea if I had known all this shiznit I would have never got the  thing, cause I mean that guy ****ED me over so bad when I bought this thing. So much more was broke then he told me, so much hidden body damage, plus all this B/S now.

no Mason, he did not F you over at all. you bought a used car, (a parts car by your own words) from a guy. When you do that it is your responsibility to judge the car for yourself. It is not his responsibility to show you everything that is wrong with the "parts" car. The guy told you what he did as a courtesy, and that was pretty nice of him I think.
As for the title, registration, whatever you want to call it. You seem to be trying to suck a little sympathy here when we both know (plus several others on the forum) that you were warned a year and a half ago by myself and others to make sure the title situation was in order BEFORE you went to far with all the work on it. You ignored the warnings because you already "knew" what you were talking about and had all the answers.

All well and good.. BUT you know me well enough by now.. when you (or anybody else) stop taking responsibility for your own decisions, and start passing the blame off on somebody else (especially somebody that can't be/isn't here to defend themselves)

It's times like that when I feel compelled to stand up and scream BS!:slap:
You DID know, you refused to accept, you bought it anyway, then you turned around and put a bunch of time and effort into it anyway having already been warned.

WOHOOOO there pal.

You need your facts in order. I bought the car with the idea form the previous owner, it needed a gas tank(which it came with) and a brake line and it would be a daily driver. He said you can get a title no problem, because I was gonna file for one myself. I knew NOTHING then I knew now, so I took his word, and what my father thought and ran with it. It was NOT a parts car, *I* classify it now because of all the shiznit that I didnt see then. Yea I took a gamble on the car, and I went by what I had been told, instead of looking into it, yes its MY FAULT. I NEVER ONCE blamed ANYONE for the fact I ended up having so much work into it, only for it to be for nothing. I blame myself for being to pen 15y about it(and if he had paid taxes like he was suppose to all would have been fine). Its a lesson learned, and Ive learned alot, and had TONS of fun with this car(big ass burnout video being made tomorrow for all you guys.).

Im not gonna sit here and start a argument, but don't go saying im asking for sympathy and pity. Yes you all told me, but I prayed and hoped(theres me being naive and im ADMITING it) my state laws were different. I have nothing but MY blood sweat and tears in this car, and I regret not being able to register it, but honestly its all been worth it.
You got problems with my naive-ness, and my pride in what i've done, guess what, I'm not losing sleep over it.

I will not make the same mistakes again.

Guy's, I think we've beat this one to death. Everyone agrees, "lesson learned"
The next project will show what was learned from the first. So I'm patiently waiting for the "Stinkin Lincoln II" thread. The 2nd one is always easier anyway.

Thanks
I dont want sympathy, and I dont want to be a thick headed punk in the eyes of you guys.
I know I did things in a bad order, but now I have a full parts car for my new one so its all good
Going to look at it, check out all the paper work, and test drive the new one this week. No money changes hands till I know 1. The condition of the car, and 2. If I have ALL the paperwork.
Best part is I get to drive it home the day I buy it!
