MS + EDIS = No Start

I got everything installed tonight. Bamafuel setup, consisting of the adapter board and MS box. Got everything wired up (with a few uncertainties, see below), got the vac line hooked up to the MS box and tried to start her. She turns over, but doesn't seem to be firing. I ran the PIP and SAW wires over to the TFI plug where the PIP and SPOUT connections are.

I pretty much followed the pic in this link, with the following exceptions:

-Unsure about VR sensor polarity
-Coil pack pigtail (3 pin), followed the diagram, but the wire colors are backwards from what it looks like they should be (they would match if I switched them around)
-No 25 uF cap
-VR sensor is about 2-3 mm away from the 36-1 wheel.
-No shielded wire from VR sensor to EDIS module (figured for the time being it would at least get the car started)

I haven't set the computer to 75 pound injectors, which is what I have now, and haven't changed any startup enrichment settings.

Could any of the above be obvious cuprits to not firing? Any other things to try/troubleshoot?
