Fuel pump June 19, 2008, 08:41:35 PM I didnt get an answer from my other post so I'll ask again. I have an 85 XR7 that I am swapping a 302 into can I still use the old fuel pump or do I need to step up to an inline pump or something? Anything would help. Quote Selected
Fuel pump Reply #1 – June 19, 2008, 09:34:13 PM NO you need to use a mechanical pump or a low pressure inline.Simple enough i think! Quote Selected

Fuel pump Reply #6 – June 20, 2008, 09:06:32 PM Yes, you can run the electric pump on the car with a carb. You just need to use a pressure regulator, such as the ones made by Holley. I ran this setup on my old '86 Cougar with a carbed 351w. :burnout: Quote Selected
