Headlight adjustment May 27, 2008, 11:07:54 PM Does anyone know how to adjust our headlights? I recently polished mine and the look semi-clear. Driving down the street tonight i noticed my high beams light up halfway up the trees. I feel after the cleaning they should throw more light than they used to when they were yellow. Anyone have any ideas? I'm desperate. Its quite the challenge to see at night.John Quote Selected
Headlight adjustment Reply #1 – May 28, 2008, 10:35:35 AM there are 2 screws on each h/l with a 4mm hex. find a levelspot about 25 ft away from something like a garage door.1 screw will raise or lower each lamp, the other will makeit go side to side. put a towel over the other lamp to block itoff. you can take it down the road and see how you likeit. oh, by the way, you will be doing this after dark. or youcan take it to a body shop and they will charge you toalign the lamps.--irv Quote Selected
