By the way,my car looks a LOT worse than yours on the outside, and it looked a LOT worse on the inside when I bought it.Time and patience, and my own little motto,"One piece at a time".It's just a big old metal and plastic puzzle.

I agree with Vinnie. Don't give up on it. I've been working on mine now for about 4 years now. Alot has happened in that time and I haven't given up on it. I just walked away from it for a while then went back to it when time and $$ were available. Good luck and keep plugging away at it. It'll get finished.

 straight.
Mine looks so screwey on the outside, I'm kind of embarrased to show it on here with all these beautiful thundercats...
Yet i have huge plans for it, And i keep on! lol.
And in the time i've been giving for things to work out, I've acquired so many awesome parts and knowledge~This car will be amazing in the end. :hick:

Don't give up on it.5.0's are cheap and easy to find. All you need is an SO 5.0 (Non-H.O.),and grab a few cheap parts, and there you have it,an H.O.H.O parts are super easy to get and cheap.H.O cams can be had for $25.00,headers are cheap, intakes are really cheap (The H.O Mustang pieces).Build that car.I've been working on mine for a freakin' year. You need patience, and you have to know that you'll run against a brick wall every once in a while.Coming to a dead end is easy,it's how you deal with it that makes all the difference. In the end,you have to do what is right for you.

I agree with vin as well. I bought my car not running and was told there was only two things it needed, well 2 things turned into over 1.5k worth of parts, so things happen. Remeber you could also get a 5.0 from a stang, another bird, a explorer(need to swap oil pan and all that stuff) I mean they are everywere!!

If you're on a tight budget, just install a basic 5.0,and do the H.O upgrade or any other mods down the road. That stuff is always readily available, and gets cheaper all the time.

My car looks the worst out of everybody's. The main bearing is going on the motor as well. You just need a little fixin up thats all. get a 302 that runs good for now, and the rest will come another time.

Remember, we're not punching a clock here. It takes as long as it takes sometimes. And nobody's trying to be first at rebuilding their car. Sometimes I look at mine and wonder, what the hell was I thinking. and then I do a little more, and it feels good to step back and see what i've done.
