I love it. Straight out of a book by Dr.Suess!

I could just see the Grinch giving that stupid dog the boot and raoring into town to jack all the gifts in that thing.

he showed up at Foose's and said

Would you Could you replace my dog?
Would you could you build me a rod?
Would you Could you use a 2.3T?
Would you could you build this for me?

That thing Rocks!!

I actually like the yellow one more. I'd have to do something about that wiring (surely a piece of yellow loom would have cost less, been easier to install, and looked a helluva lot better than those thirty million zip ties), but that car looks like function was a higher priority than form was. It actually looks like it's a car that's meant to be, and is, driven.

Whoever built the one in the background should be shot though - not so much for using a Chev engine, but for using the slogan on their "Taz" sign :hick:

good call.  he actually drives it to kcir (kansas city international raceway) and races it in the 1/4.  it's not that fast at all cosidering how light it is.  last time i saw him run, he ran a 14.2 at about 90mph (guestimate.... this was 2 years ago).  i think it's got a lot to do with his weight.  he's a BIG boy!    it's a cool car for sure.:burnout:

He needs to put a small scoop on the IC to help it actually work.

draw-through carb setups look like shiznit

And they usually run like  too.

I have a low pressure (8 psi) draw-through setup on my buggy and it runs pretty good until you quickly close the throttle when at full boost and the turbo sucks the fuel bowls dry. :hick:
Someday when all my other projects are finished I will pull off the draw-through carb setup and make it fuel injected.

last time i saw him out at the track, i tried to give him tips on how to up the power a bit, but he really didn't seem to care.  honestly, he's kind of a jerk.  i pulled up in the ranger and parked next to him.  and started talking to him about his car and told him that i thought it was really neat.  he asked about my truck a little and acted like it was nowhere near as cool as his little car and that i was stupid for putting that motor in a ranger.  then he mumbled something and walked away.

That's actually the throttle body coupler from the stock charge tube setup. He used a lot of the original parts, it would seem.

Yeah I know, but it surely looks like Ford ran out and sent a flunky over to the new warehouse to get them... Problem is, he was on the wrong street and wandered into Lowes...  :toilet:
