Stock H.O. cam. Is it worth it?

I have a stock h.o. cam laying in my garage and I was wondering if it`s worth swapping out into my tbird.
Whats the specs of a standard 5.0`s cam and an ho? I my just get an e303 cam and gt40x heads later. But I`m broke at the moment.

It's an improvement, with the E-7 heads and headers.
The firing order is different than stock to.Really not worth the hassle on a stock 5.0.

If I remember correctly the 5.0 HO cam has a lift of 444 and a lobe seperation of 115. The "E" cam work pretty well with most any combo (n/a turbo NOS or Blower) and also the F cam with a 512 lift works good. Either will give you a nice old school sound and make decent power. Not sure of the specs on the 5.0 cam. If you really want it I will find out for you. I have it written down somewhere...

I'd do it. All you have to do is swap to the HO firing order, pop in a set of HO injectors, get a HO speed density computer and you're in business:burnout:

It's possible to get all the stuff for less than $100:hick:

Then again if one is broke that could be too much.

HO cam is nice. Especially if you have the stock shortblock with flat-top pistons.
