Going to supercharge the Cat

ok, here is the deal peoples, the more I dig up info on this little project, the more money is required and time with the cars hood up. I am expecting a child here next month so my supercharger.....maybe a turbo....dunno for sure yet...... but anyways I'm putting mine on hold for now. As I have never installed a supercharger before and I don't want to run into all kinds of problems until I know what I am getting myself into. I don't wanna modify the hood either for clearance issues either. I will help Carl all that I can and as long as his funds don't run dry,  we will get er done as they say. Until I win the lotto or I start to shiznit money I am gonna continue to research and demise a plan.

Not to hijack this thread but if you could put some mroe horse power on your car, would it be a turbo or a supercharger?

You can actually put a Eaton M90 on your V6 Cat. Since the supercoupe was a 3.8 too. Hell, Mustang V6 guys have done it too and they have the 3.8.

But wont I have to change the internals of the motor??

PS I dont know how to quote correctly but you get the point I was gettin at..

I am not sure how much the 3.8 changed over the years. You will have to ask some super-coupe guys and see what the differences are.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.
