It (heated seats) was only offered on the 20ths. Not even an option (as just about everything was offered as "standard" - the only options available on the cars were:
[LIST=1]
  • keyless entry (the keypad)
  • Automatic Temperature Control
  • and the moonroof.

The moonroof, of course, is the most "rare" of the three options on these cars. Most 20ths I have seen usually have either the keyless entry or the ATC, or both.

My bad, Eric - I was just going by what the salesman said 20 years ago. I was unaware of the Traction-Loc, power antenna, or illuminated entry as options. Mine's got everything but the sunroof, and I thought that was the only thing she was "missing."

Now, I am actuallly not sure about the Traction-Loc axle. Waht is the easiest way to determine if my car is equipped with tat option or not? Thanks/

Royce, I'm just bustin' your nuts. :punchballs:

What you said about there only being three options, EVERYONE used to say. I've heard that myself for 20 years. It was just a common-knowledge thing for some reason. But once I found the dealer order page for the 20th model, it became clear that there were more than 3 options for the car. A "stripped" 20th is still pretty loaded up. But to get the ultimate factory 20th, you'd have to have ordered everything on that list.

Your axle code is on your door tag; should be above AX. List of codes here:

He is saying that they were standard equipment on the 20th, and were not even offered as an option on Cougar LS or XR-7.
