So im toying with my electrical under the dash saturday and i come across a random hose looks like a vacspooge hose under the dash right next to my gas pedal it runs up over the steering column toward the headlight switch and dissappears i cant see where it goes or where the other end is supposed to go its not cut so im sure it just came off could this be part of my cruise control? It just quit working one day on my way home from minot. Oh and btw all my heater and ac controls still work.

Have a sunroof?  just a shot in the dark, but it could be your drain tube, if you have one and its large enough.

Black rubber hose, or one of those oh-so-handy color-coded plastic lines?

I've always been told that the drain tubes run down inside the windshield pillars and through the fenders.

Yes the sunroof hoses do go down the windshield pillars on each side, these are bigger the a normal vacuum hose.
There are also a set down beside the rear window.

There are only two tools you will ever need:
1) WD40
2) Duct Tape
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.
