5 spd TBird pedals for sale Reply #6 – August 18, 2006, 03:20:18 PM Quote from: Bird351Will they work on any Fox body? They will fit any Fox-chassied car, but the 87-88TC's used a hydraulic clutch set-up. The rest of the TC's and the Foxes used a cable..... Quote Selected
5 spd TBird pedals for sale Reply #7 – August 18, 2006, 03:27:17 PM But I'm guessing that's not a problem if you're adding a stick to a car that didn't originally have it.. to, say, a Mark VII..? Could just add the whole hydraulic setup, right? Quote Selected
5 spd TBird pedals for sale Reply #8 – August 18, 2006, 03:33:14 PM Again....only the 87-88 2.3T's use the hydraulic, EVERY other Fox car with a manual was a cable clutch....There were no 5.0 Foxes w/ a hydraulic clutch...thus no 5.0 hydraulic bellhousing. Quote Selected
5 spd TBird pedals for sale Reply #9 – August 18, 2006, 03:41:56 PM So what kind of clutch does a T56 usually use? I'm not interested in a T5 swap. If I convert one of my Foxes to manual, I'm goin' all the way.EDIT: One big possibility is that if I do a manual swap, it would be to a 2.3T Fairmont or Zephyr. I'm looking at one Zephyr right now, (hence why my 86 is up for sale as well as my 351W) and it's an automatic. I could possibly use a T5 until I could afford to go with the 56. I just threw out the Mark thing as an example. (that's more likely to get an AOD with 4R70W internals than a stick.. but anything's possible) Quote Selected
5 spd TBird pedals for sale Reply #10 – August 19, 2006, 03:53:40 PM Looks like Chuck gave up.. heh.Anyway, assuming no one else got to them already, I'd have some interest in trying to get these.. and I'll be selling/ebaying a few things when I get back from vacation to try and raise some money for car work, so I'd actually be able to afford something for a change.. but I'm sure someone else will jump on this before I get back.. so I'll catch the next set that comes along if that's the case. Good luck. Quote Selected
