Re: Too late to turn back now (Garage Construction) Reply #32 – October 02, 2005, 08:17:46 AM I got good news and bad news.First the bad news. The cement guys didn't show up on Friday. The good news is that they showed up first thing Saturday morning. 7:00AM. The first cement truck got here at 8:00. About noon the cement was in and leveled off (pic 1). After lunch the power trowel started to work (pic 2). At 11:00PM, 16 hours after the guys got here, the sealer was applied (pic 3) and ready to dry overnight. All that's left to do now is the siding...and get that new TC in there. :) Quote Selected
Re: Too late to turn back now (Garage Construction) Reply #33 – October 02, 2005, 09:39:16 AM Excellent! How much interior finishing/insulating are you going to do? Quote Selected
Re: Too late to turn back now (Garage Construction) Reply #34 – October 02, 2005, 11:11:11 AM It's going to be insulated and sheeted but that's most likely going to be a job for next year. My line of credit is now to it's limit :( Quote Selected
Re: Too late to turn back now (Garage Construction) Reply #35 – October 02, 2005, 11:41:40 PM Looking good....(but my stack of tires is taller than yours :D )I took a picture of the inside out to show your TC, I'd swear it smiled :)BTW I have at least one of the Turbo Coupe inserts that go in the door moulding. I'll see if I can dig up another. Quote Selected
Re: Too late to turn back now (Garage Construction) Reply #36 – October 03, 2005, 08:39:53 AM Thanks TC50! My stack of tires is gone now. I sold the 10 holes I had on the t-bird so I put those wheels back on it (they are the Rikens Thunder Chicken was asking about) If you can dig up a couple Turbo Coupe inserts that'll be great. The siding is suppose to be started tonight. Another week or two and it'll be ready for winter...and the TC :) Quote Selected
