Why not put a turbo 4 back in there? Or some other form of turbo charged odd ball setup. A buddy of mine took a 88 T/C and put a twin turbo V6 into and made custom badges for it that said "SuperBird"  He told everyone that it was a one off test car before they went with the supercharger. Any how make it Fast but make it and odd ball. Also not many people actually rebuild the T/c to stock so that might be an Idea.

well a twin turbo 6 would be cool.
But for me V8s come easy and cheap. As it is now i have 2 more 351s that landed in my lap as well as 3 flat head fords and one 354 baby hemi.

With the hobby shop doing soso i hope over the winter to build 1 or 2 rods to sell next spring

I have a friend working on an inline 6 carbed turbo setup for his 58 failane.

Might consider that. I know Bird351 has started a thread on it for the 300 but the, I think, 240 inline 6 has alot of after market parts out there if you look hard enough. There is a twin cam head out there for it.

Heres a pic of the beast.

I dont see the problem with doing what you want to YOUR car. Does anyone supercharge engines anymore. I thought that was the big deal anymore. I've always known turbos to be associated with foreign cars. I'm not trying to put anyone down. I think a 302 supercharged would be cool. Thats what I intend to do to my 84 coug.

I kinda figured. You said you considered a twin SC setup. Is that with the new SCs. The ones like turbos.Cuz the only ones i knew of were top mount on top of the intake.

those are roots style SC's that mount on the intake, you can get centrafugal (sp?) sc's that are belt driven and look like half a turbo.

There have been people that have used twin superchargers.
I side more with turbos when it comes down for boost.
For power on demand there still is not much that can beat a bottle.

Ya, maybe thats its. Hell I don't know he changes cars more than uunderwear. This is just his latest beast.
It also has a full air suspention under it and a T5 bolted to it inplace of the 3 speed on the tree.
