It's Gumby's fault.

How in the heck did you make one?  Drill and tap a screw into a fixed version?  Hope it don't leak!

its a CFI fuel pressure regulator, those are adjustable from the factory, and i added the vaspoogee reference nipple to it, and i had to fill a hole inside the adjusting screw, threw a few coats of paint on it, and its all done

I believe Scott posted a way to do this a while back.
is that where you got your inspiration or is your way a different method?

i remember Chris came across the fact that the CFI fuel pressure regulator was adjustable from the factory, Chris and Scott used it on their CFI cars, ive modded it to use it on my TC and my 5.0  if/when it makes it into the red bird

the point of this modification is to take an adjustable fuel pressure regulator from a CFI car, and make it functonal on a full EFI car

Ok, I thought you were going to put it back on a CFI engine.

So what are you gonna crank the pressure up to?

actually, the amp is a big time POS, but...it works, the amp hides the potential of the guitars i have

how did you add the vacuum nipple?

basically, i took a vaspoogee nipple, and i hacksawed just the nipple part off, drill a hole slightly smaller than the nipple, so where i needed a small hammer to pound it in, pulled it out, threw some JB weld on it, hammered it in, and added some around the edges

when i get my hands on another CFI regulator, ill do a write up if anyone is interested

probably going to be 41#'s base pressure, since the cars run slightly lean stock, and im running more boost, id rather run slightly rich than slightly lean

got my holley cranked up to like 45. but need more pump.  you'll like the extra fule. looks good man. but you really have to much time on ur hands sometimes.  hope the jb weld holds up.  did you use the 15 min or the 15 hour weld. im finding the 15 hour weld isnt working much for me .

i honestly dont know what it is...my friend just kinda left it at my house

building it only took 10 minutes, since i knew all what i needed, the longest part was waiting for the JB weld to dry, and the paint to cure
