quarter glass November 16, 2014, 01:49:41 PM Did the Sport Tbirds quarter glass come w/o the chrome? Quote Selected
quarter glass Reply #1 – November 16, 2014, 04:55:37 PM The Sports had black trim. Same as the turbo coupe. There's a car at the yard here that I stripped a lot of parts from with almost mint 1/4 windows with chrome. Quote Selected
quarter glass Reply #2 – November 18, 2014, 05:52:35 AM I have a NOS set for my Bird when the time comes for paint. I have a set that are black I will be selling. I will take a closer look at them. Seems they look a little different than TC glass? Quote Selected
quarter glass Reply #3 – November 18, 2014, 07:50:37 AM How much for the black trimmed windows. PM me. Quote Selected
quarter glass Reply #5 – November 19, 2014, 09:56:48 AM Sport and TC glass are identical. The chrome on the 3.8 and non Sport cars is simply an added on piece. It's a little rough to get off, but once it's off, there's no difference.I have a couple of sets as well... Quote Selected

Picking up cheaper chrome windows makes sense if they can be found cheaper than the black. Quote Selected
quarter glass Reply #7 – November 20, 2014, 05:03:11 PM I don't know. The only set I had, I traded with a guy here a long time ago. Probably some sort of adhesive is used, but shouldn't be much more than that, if even that. Might be like a crimped, or press fit.If I ever encounter another, I'll yank the trim off to see what happens. Hopefully it's not a car that belongs to someone on here! :-O :-P Quote Selected
quarter glass Reply #8 – November 20, 2014, 07:13:35 PM The chrome peels off easily. In guessing adhesive. My last 87 lx bird i caught the trim with a window ser and the whole thing came off. Quote Selected
