column to floor shift AOD

Been searching some of the swap threads on here . For those who have done this , is it a piece of cake ?  I can get bracket pieces etc  off 5.0L mustang , bird cougar from junk yard ? Also I am going to mount a B&M autoshifter .

I did it to my bird. You have to make sure the following things are right or you are going have problems. Make sure your shift linkage seal is in good shape if not replace it. Make sure your transmission kickdown cable is good if not replace it and while you are under there check your throttle cable. Also if you are going to use a B&M shifter you are going to do some surgery to your console( if you have one) if not prepare to cut a hole in the floor to position it and you are going to need a shift rod and the associated linkage and brackets from a floor shift Tbird, Cougar or a Mustang. Hope this helps.
