Rather, they're the same pattern as Taurus/Sable/Continentals. Basically, the FWD Ford 5 lug pattern.As far as ABS, it could be several things causing issues. Interestingly, our Lincoln cousin the Mark VII has the same chassis, but they came with lots of just better parts, including 5 lug axles, rotors and wheels. Also on the better parts list are the engine (205-225HP HO vs 155HP? SO), headers, and H-pipe dual exhaust. Like ThunderbirdSport302 said, however, most use mustang parts for the swap. Quote Selected

I have all the parts from a Lincoln, I took everything off the car worth using. Complete engine, the entire brake system, wheels, odds and ends. I just need the time to do it all. I really need a second vehicle, I hate working on the Thunderbird knowing I absolutely need it to get me to work the next day. Quote Selected

I need to replace the timing belt, and it's all sort of easy EXCEPT when we got to taking off the dang belt I realized I have to take off the harmonic balance and...dang no tools for taking that off and schucks has the wrong tool kit and...a large margin of error there...I just don't wanna take it to a shop to do it..that'll cost A LOT!!!
