Transmission Mount '88 TC Reply #17 – March 22, 2012, 12:29:42 AM doesn't help when BJL drives past my house and revs his car :( he's a big meanie.. he not nice to me.. LOL seriously, there's a possibility that the vibration could be coming from your toasted trans mount.. you figure at those speeds, any little weak link can give you trouble Quote Selected
Transmission Mount '88 TC Reply #18 – March 22, 2012, 12:34:46 AM I can grab the back of the front of my drive shaft and move the trans side to side, so it very well could be the trans mount. But if it isn't the only thing really left is the rear, I just can't think of anything else that would give this kind of vibration! I plan on taking it on a 950 mile round trip here in a few weeks and I will be dang gone if I want to deal with this vibration for that many miles! Quote Selected
Transmission Mount '88 TC Reply #19 – March 22, 2012, 12:38:38 AM oh .. yeah.. i'm going to bet it's the mount.. if you can do it by hand, just imagine what your driveshaft is doing to it at 70+ lol Quote Selected
Transmission Mount '88 TC Reply #20 – March 22, 2012, 12:45:52 AM I hope it fixes it but just in case it doesn't, I went ahead and ordered all of the bushings for the rear control arms and everything to rebuild the brakes on the other rear! :D Quote Selected
Transmission Mount '88 TC Reply #21 – March 22, 2012, 12:46:49 AM good luck, i hope i'm right and it's the mount :) lol Quote Selected
Transmission Mount '88 TC Reply #22 – March 23, 2012, 05:33:19 AM That mount is shot and it is good you are replacing it. You also get rid of all the junk related to the stock mount. Good call on the replacing it. The stock ones suck!!! Quote Selected

That makes me sad :( ...... lolI am going to go ahead and install the new ones, I don't see where the length matters to much as long as they are the same. Quote Selected
Transmission Mount '88 TC Reply #26 – March 27, 2012, 05:56:45 AM you should be alright with the new E.S. endlinks but why is one of the old ones appear longer in the center sleeve area then the other one?? Quote Selected
