Here in my area, and even more specifically south and west of me, it'll be tornado season for the next 3-4 months, and they can happen anywhere, anytime, if the weather conditions are just right.

Greensburg Kansas got nearly wiped off the map in May of 2007, and another major twister came too close for comfort just a year or so later.

We kinda take them as a part of life down here, but that doesn't mean that we don't feel badly for the folks in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Alabama and other places where life and property was lost in the 5th deadliest tornado outbreak.
I've just got this: If we're already having weather like this, I really hope things settle down by May..that's when it's supposed to be prime twister season. Enough is enough.

We get hammered in Oklahoma every year. Hopefully not close. There was one 5 miles from us just a two or three years ago. Crazy close.
