My little 4 has gone 12.75@112 weighing 3700# with me in it.  Although not quite stock, minor mods will get them in the 13's.  They are tough little engines.  I have yet to kill any of mine other than head gaskets.  I'm up to 4 tbirds/cougars now.

That is a beautiful car though.  I can't believe how perfect that interior is!  I would truly hate seeing it get a v8 stuffed in it, but then again I hate working on 5.0's

Bunch a babies lol. If it were me I'd be fighting off the urge to drop a coyote into it. If I ever get another Tbird that will be the plan. Nice car.

Sorry cant find another way to post that pic .But the 1992 lincoln mark VIII  came with auto trans and I wanted to keep it a stick so I bought the car gutted and sold everything I could the pain in the ass is the lincolns 4.6 has the intake on the back side it would not clear the fire wall so I hade to find mustang unit .I the proceeded to buy a wrecked 1994 cobra for the t5 I was told it would bolt up WRONG and I had bought a new clevis pedal assy I got from mustang steves that i never got to use but  I bought the kit he sells to use cobra brakes front and rear looks sweet . I bought a trans for 1998 mustang and hydraulic clutch assy and that was the key I so wanted to run the rear end out of the lincoln so bad but the time and energy plus I know my fabbing limitations I am a electrical guy not a huge fabber. But like everything I have owned I sold it to finance my hobby/addiction .The camaro is sold to was a sweet low mileage 76k 1987 iroc z28 I go thru cars like people go thru underwear. And I wont even start on my ATV bikes I have gone thru not to mention trucks
