A lot has changed Reply #17 – August 13, 2013, 04:22:19 PM Welcome back to the board !And congrats on your weight loss. I lost some un-needed weight 2 years ago ( but not as much as you), so I can only imagine how much better you feel.Yep, it takes a life style change, not just a food change.Mine was a self made diet so all I did was exercise and watch my saturated fat and sugar intake. Got my cholesterol down 60 points in 4 months. :D (and loss 12 lbs)Keep up the good work ! Quote Selected

A lot has changed Reply #19 – August 13, 2013, 10:37:35 PM That's an awesome transformation. All the benefits of longer life, improved self-esteem and sense of accomplishment aside, you know all you really wanted was to drop your quarters by .2 second Quote Selected
A lot has changed Reply #20 – August 22, 2013, 10:21:04 PM Wow! What a difference! Congrats!I have a good friend who weighs 450lbs or so and I worry about his health. He is 50 yrs old and I tell him constantly that being that big at that age is a very very bad thing. He tried just walking for 30 minutes a day three times a week and lost over 100lbs in 6 months. He quit doing that last year and the weight came right back. He also eats two to three times as much as I do (I'm 6'1" 200lbs) so that ain't helping either. Quote Selected
A lot has changed Reply #21 – August 22, 2013, 11:56:00 PM Being 450 lbs at ANY age is deadly. I've worked in nursing care for 20 years and I can tell many stories. Quote Selected
