Not to hijack, but there's a difference between the TC and 5.0 overflow bottle? (I've never seen a TC overflow, the TC I had, it was missing..)

Thinking that 5.0 and 3.8 bottles are the same...? the ones on my Sport and my white car look a lot alike...

turbo coupe radiator overflow bottle sits behind the radiator, between the fans and the engine, but off to the right, close to the battery, and just off to the side, but in front of the power steering pump, not to be confused with the windshield washer fluid bottle, in the fender beside the battery. The 5.0 radiator over flow bottle sits in front of the radiator, at the opposite end of the radiator, and look nothing like each other. You can actually use either one in either car, if you choose to......

Is this true?  Cuz, I need one for my V6 and I thought the V8 was different?  Mine attaches on the passenger side inner fender...I'd just want it to mate up to the holes for mounting...

I should have updated this post but I ended up going with a universal overflow bottle that I mounted in front of the radiator

I have been running without an overflow since april. I have overheated once since, but it was because of that 4" long hose that goes to the thermostat housing.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

I have as well and it's been working out just fine, actually.  I just check the level in the rad just like you used to do before the days of overflow bottles.
