Wtb 87-88 5.0 radiator overflow bottle Reply #5 – July 09, 2010, 02:49:54 AM Not to hijack, but there's a difference between the TC and 5.0 overflow bottle? (I've never seen a TC overflow, the TC I had, it was missing..)Thinking that 5.0 and 3.8 bottles are the same...? the ones on my Sport and my white car look a lot alike... Quote Selected
Wtb 87-88 5.0 radiator overflow bottle Reply #6 – July 09, 2010, 03:43:18 AM turbo coupe radiator overflow bottle sits behind the radiator, between the fans and the engine, but off to the right, close to the battery, and just off to the side, but in front of the power steering pump, not to be confused with the windshield washer fluid bottle, in the fender beside the battery. The 5.0 radiator over flow bottle sits in front of the radiator, at the opposite end of the radiator, and look nothing like each other. You can actually use either one in either car, if you choose to...... Quote Selected

Wtb 87-88 5.0 radiator overflow bottle Reply #11 – July 19, 2010, 08:21:45 PM I have been running without an overflow since april. I have overheated once since, but it was because of that 4" long hose that goes to the thermostat housing. Quote Selected

I just check the level in the rad just like you used to do before the days of overflow bottles. Quote Selected
